Flying in to the landing area
Private and recreational light aircraft are welcome to use this historic landing area. However the strip does not comply with the CAAP 92-1 recommendations.

There are 80′ high lighting towers immediately west of the southern boundary and trees above the splay on both approaches.

Therefore it is an imperative that Pilots ensure that the strip is suitable for their operation.

Permission
Permission is required to operate from the landing area.
